What are you planning for
BRITISH SCIENCE WEEK this year?
This year the focus is Discovery and Exploration and we have created a new primary show and workshop for the occasion.
"Where Shall We Go Next?"
investigates scientists and reseachers whose discoveries have had an impact on everyday lives - especially things that your pupils will know well.
For example we explore a rainy day by looking at the woman who invented windscreen wipers through to hydrochromic inks on our incredible colour changing umbrella!
As ever we use amazing kit, fascinating facts and lots of volunteers to engage your pupils in their own journey of exploration.
The accompanying workshop is suitable for year 2 upwards and looks at polymers linking in with the BSW citizen science event The Plastic Tide.
You can find information abut organising an event, publicity and promotional material on the BSW website:
A typical primary school visit from us would be two shows in the morning and two classroom based workshops in the afternoon.
BSW is very busy so to get everyone in we have extended our programme
5th - 16th March which gives two full weeks of school science!
To make the Discovery and Exploration theme extra special we are offering a 50% discount ( plus travel ) on our Where Shall We Go Next? primary shows and workshops.
